Your tasks:
a. Accounting & Governance
Full ownership of accounting and statutory reporting
Ensure timely closings and statutory financial statements under Italian GAAP (OIC) with IFRS alignment
Maintain robust internal controls; primary contact for auditors, advisors, banks, and authorities
b. Controlling & Performance Management
Own and drive the controlling function, including cost controlling, profitability analysis, and KPI frameworks
Develop and enhance management reporting, variance analysis, and performance tracking
Provide transparency on business performance and proactively highlight deviations, risks, and opportunities
Establish financial steering mechanisms to support sustainable and profitable growth
Partner closely with business functions to monitor and optimize cost structures and margins
c. Financial Planning & Business Partnering
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning aligned with local and Group priorities
Provide actionable financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations
Act as a strategic partner to leadership, supporting decision-making at all levels
d. Tax, Treasury & Investment Management
Own Italian tax compliance and monitor regulatory developments
Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and working capital
Evaluate investments and business cases; provide financial recommendations
e. Systems & Process Excellence
Lead ERP/finance systems (e.g. SAP), digitalization, and automation initiatives
Drive process optimization and standardization across finance and controlling
Ensure high-quality, reliable, and timely financial data
f. Procurement Governance
Provide financial governance and oversight for procurement activities
Monitor cost structures, supplier performance, and savings initiatives
Partner with procurement to drive cost efficiency and value creation
g. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Build, lead, and develop the finance and administrative organization
Act as a trusted partner to local leadership, European Finance, and Group stakeholders
Your profile:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally in international environments
Strong expertise in Italian GAAP (OIC), IFRS, tax, FP&A, and internal controls
Proven experience leading and developing finance teams and organizations
Strong background in performance management, cost controlling, and profitability analysis
Proven experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems
Strategic, hands‑on leader with strong stakeholder and influencing skills
Fluent in Italian and English; additional European languages an advantage
